The Latin American migration route is one of the longest and most dangerous in the world, and it doesn't begin in Mexico. Often, it begins right here, in Brazil.

Why do so many still migrate north? What are they fleeing? What are they looking for? What do they endure along the way? Does the American Dream still exist?
